Manufactured in the UK by DOW, these heating insulation boards are made from high-quality, lightweight materials, making them easy to lay and durable. Premium Boards have a compressive strength of 30tonnes per square metre, making them a lasting component of your underfloor heating installation.
These items are available in various thicknesses (6mm, 10mm, 20mm, 30mm and 50mm), so you can tailor the efficiency to suit your requirements.
Approved by Ultra-Tile, these thermal boards are suitable to be used with our electric underfloor heating systems and can be laid over concrete or screed floors. They can even be installed beneath a tile finish.
Each board is sized at 1,200 x 600mm and covers an area of 0.72m2.
Fitting XP-PRO Boards is straightforward and takes very little effort.
When installing under a wooden floor finish with our aluminium heating mats, the tiles can be laid out on the subfloor in a staggered brick-bond pattern.
If you intend on using these boards with our loose cable system for use under a tiled floor, you will need to secure the mats to the subfloor using a suitable adhesive.
