It’s important for heating mats and cables to be tested both during and after the installation process, which is why we sell affordable testing kits. Testing is a required condition of the 25-year manufacturer’s warranty, and the kit comes with batteries and simple instructions for user convenience.

The pack’s digital multimeter provides value for money in that it has other uses in the home and garden. For instance, it can be used to check electrical circuits and fuses.

The kit also comes with a floor damage sensor, which alerts the user if the heating mats or cables are damaged. The sensor is easy to use; all you have to do is connect the cables to the rear of the floor damage sensor. If the heating cable is damaged in any way – either by the tiler or during the installation process – the handset will give off a high-pitched alarm, allowing homeowners to avoid unnecessary costs further along the line.
