An easy to follow, 11-page installation guide can be downloaded from our website and contains step-by-step instructions accompanied by clear, colour photographs. This ensures that your installation is problem free, quick and easy. With no requirement for self-levelling compounds, this system uses one of the thinnest cabling available on the market, but with low-heat resistance delivering efficient and even heat distribution from beneath your carpet.
The recommended installation is over a concrete or wood subfloor that has been insulated using XP Pro Insulation Boards and overlaid with Heat Pak Dual Overlay (not included within kit). With no need for any additional levelling, installation is 100% dry and your carpet can be fitted over the top.
Covered by our lifetime guarantee, the heating mat is available with an output of 140w/m² and confirms to IEC 60335m, is SEMKO certified and holds the CE mark. These heating cables contain no PVC and are designed with high resistance to corrosion and strength.
Allowing for even distribution, the heating elements are all prefabricated in our factory using two layers of reinforced aluminium foil and sealed in a laminated mat. The power cable is affixed to a single corner and consists of a two-core flexible cord, which lies flat inside a metal sheath with a protective outer safety covering.
Each system is tested in a controlled environment and offers flexibility to anyone wishing to install underfloor heating, from DIY projects to professional installations.
