The Heatmiser TA230 thermal actuator is a reliable and efficient 2-wire device designed to control individual valves on a manifold system. Its purpose is to open and close valves in response to signals from a room thermostat, allowing precise control of heating in each room or zone.
To seamlessly integrate into your underfloor heating system, the Heatmiser thermal actuator is typically connected to an underfloor heating wiring centre, such as the Heatmiser UH4 or UH8. This centralized control system synchronizes the thermal actuators throughout the system, optimizing performance and energy efficiency.
Installation is made convenient with the inclusion of a threaded ring nut M30 x 1.5. The actuator is fitted onto the securely screwed threaded ring nut, simplifying the process and saving time. It operates on a reliable 230V power supply and employs a 2-wire normally closed configuration to efficiently regulate the flow of heating water, ensuring precise temperature control and comfort in each room or zone.
With a stroke length of 3.5mm +/- 0.5, the thermal actuator provides the necessary movement to open and close valves accurately. This allows for responsive operation, enabling precise adjustment of the heating flow in line with room thermostat signals.
