Tile Backer Boards, BACKER-PRO are the ultimate solution for superior waterproofing and heat insulation in underfloor heating and under tile applications. These high-quality extruded polystyrene panels, reinforced with fibreglass mesh on both sides, are specifically designed to complement our under tile heating cables and mats (not suitable for underwood systems).

When installing any type of tile backer board onto concrete subfloor we recommend using Ultraflexible tile adhesive, please make sure the floor is primed with a suitable primer before installation.
Wood subfloors
When installing onto wooden floors we recommend using Ultraflexible tile adhesive in addition with insulation fixing pack or suitable screws and washers at every 300mm centres. This is approx 15 fixings per board
