Installation Instructions – Element / Continuity Tester

Before starting the installation, follow these critical steps:

1.Connect the wires:

  • Attach the Brown or Red wire of the element cold tail to L1 (red lead).
  • Attach the Blue or Black wire of the element cold tail to L2 (black lead).
  • Attach both green wires of the element cold tail to the Green lead of the tester.


2.Turn on the tester.

  • A red light indicates the tester is on and functioning.

3.Monitor for faults:

  • If the tester beeps, this signals a fault. Stop immediately and consult an electrician for repair.
  • If no beep occurs, you may proceed with the installation.

4.Final Check Before Tiling:

  • Reconnect the tester after installation and keep it on throughout the tiling process.
  • If the tester light turns off, replace the batteries to ensure continuous operation.
