Energy-efficient Control for Your Heating System
The Heatmiser Window/Door Contact Sensor is a smart and efficient solution designed to optimise your heating system’s performance. By automatically switching the system to standby mode whenever a window or door is opened, it conserves energy and ensures that your heating only operates when needed, enhancing comfort while reducing energy consumption.
Key Features:-
Automatic Standby Activation:
The sensor detects when a window or door is opened and triggers the heating system to switch to standby mode, ensuring energy isn’t wasted heating unoccupied spaces. This minimises heat loss and maximises energy efficiency. -
Zonal Control:
Perfect for homes with multi-zone heating systems, the sensor allows individual rooms to be controlled separately. When a window or door is opened, it can turn off the heating in that specific zone, optimising comfort and energy use throughout the property. -
Centralised System Control:
When multiple Wireless Window/Door Contact Sensors are used, they can be paired with a single thermostat. If any sensor detects a window or door opening, it immediately triggers the system to go into standby mode. Heating resumes only when all sensors have been closed, ensuring energy efficiency across the entire system. -
Full Compatibility with Heatmiser Systems:
The Window/Door Contact Sensor is fully compatible with the Heatmiser Edge Thermostat Series, providing seamless integration and automatic shutdown of heating when windows or doors are open. This offers unparalleled convenience and significant energy savings. -
Expandable Capacity:
You can pair up to 16 Wireless Contact Sensors with a single Edge Thermostat, allowing for extensive zonal control and greater flexibility in managing your heating system’s efficiency.
